You’ve waited for this all winter!
The first Gallery Walk of the season will be Friday, May 9th. Music, friends, great restaurants and fabulous art are always a part of these popular evenings, and experienced art-lovers make Artists’ Own Gallery one of their first destinations. AO will be unveiling new displays and a new look, but there are many more reasons to stop by…
Joe Peters will be playing, along with Christi Clore, Linda Hicks, and Amanda Fletcher, the most recent SAMI (emerging songwriter) award winner.
Be sure to meet our three new artists for 2008. Al Knight, Orie Shafer and Glenn Chang have joined our list of AO talent and their new work will be in the spotlight.

Al Knight
“I observe my surroundings from a point of view not always obvious to others. I find something attractive and interesting in almost everything I see.
My personal collection of photographs reflects this eclectic vision of the beauty that is hidden among the mundane, the unattractive, the discarded, and the forgotten.”
Al retired from Purdue in May 2004. He still teaches part-time in Purdue’s College of Technology and is pursuing a second career in photography. Al and his wife Dianne reside in Lafayette, Indiana. Glenn Chang
As both a commercial and fine art photographer, Glenn’s work has focused on nature and the wild environment. Initially he was drawn to the tropical and volcanic beauty of Hawaii. But when he moved to Colorado, his work drew on the inspiration of the high mountain country of the Rocky Mountains, the deserts of the Four Corners region of Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona, the extreme diversity of California, and the wild and scenic beauty of the Pacific coast. Now living in the rural country of the Midwest, Glenn has taken up the challenge of finding the gems of water, forests, and natural environments hidden away in the landscape.
