This temporary location will only be open until December 24th so hurry down and see what the artists of AO have been creating.

New Work

Dan Bollock recently completed two commissions for the Armstrong Building at Purdue University.

“Make Waves”, is made of cherry and steel.  Three large slabs from a single tree were cut into smaller blocks and turned off center on a lathe creating concentric circles.  The blocks were reassembled so the wood grain would be continuous.  The piece is approximately 5' x 8' and hangs in the third floor conference room.

“ Reconstruction #2” is a collaboration between Dan and Lisa Walsh. Lisa made the black and gold glass beads, and Dan turned a crotch cherry disk.  The two pieces of the disk are connected with steel rods which are surrounded by glass beads.  This piece is 24" in diameter and hangs in the third floor waiting room.
